We really do need your help in trying to establish new dealers in underserviced areas. Over the last few years Windstone has endured the closing of many of our retail dealers and, more and more, we get calls from collectors looking for a local store to purchase figurines. Independent retail stores whether large, small, old or new have been increasingly forced out of business by national chains and the cost of real estate. As a result, we have unfortunately lost many a good, long standing dealer.
In trying to build our business back to the point of viability we have tried many ways to reach new accounts but conventional advertising is increasingly expensive and the returns diminishing. I know there are still many retailers left who could do well with Windstone so, I have reasoned, why not ask for help from our collectors? Stores are probably more inclined to put in a line if their customers already have an interest and who could inform us better than you of the best stores in your area? Contact us with leads to new dealers and we will reward you well in Windstone collectables for your efforts when we establish an account.
We have received many great leads to our request for references to potential new accounts and, although it takes time to "sell" them on Windstone, we have gotten our first new account from a collector. This is a really great store (that has already reordered!) and the finder was rewarded with a very nice peacock Rising Spectral Dragon. Thanks Rebecca!
